Five Stars
For some reason on my review bellow it has not given the star rating - I give this FIVE STARS , and the delivery service was also excellent

CKF/Gavko
First impression was how fast it got to me in the states. 5 days! Second impression the blade seems like it is spring loaded. It's so smooth and fast. Quality is top shelf. Very nice. Great knife!!

Perfectly Balanced Spinner
I've enjoyed my Ferrum Forge built Gavko quite a bit, and was smitten with the bad-boy looks of this CKF collaboration. I hesitated for a time, but after seeing WalkingReview's youtube review, pulled the trigger. I am SO glad I did. Wilkinson Williams has already pointed out specific differences between the knives, so please read his assessment.

There's a mechanical precision to this knife that is a CKF hallmark. The slightly narrower blade and lighter weight makes it a better performer (for my use). The elegant sculpting of the scales and blade finish are and what I expect in a custom and done to perfection. This is the type of sophistication and refinement that has made Custom Knife Factory so well regarded. If I had to choose but one variation, the CKF Gavko is a no-brainer. Not only in terms of performance, but bang for the buck. You will not be disappointed!

SF Blade
This collaboration with Gavco has produced a beautiful blade. The SF has some nice changes from the larger Gavco customs. The lightening pockets in the frame and the .002 difference in blade thickness from the original blade design, make it light, but yet a very strong knife, with nice balance and control and with the ceramic bearings in the pivot you can not even feel the pivot while in motion, extremely smooth. The blade shape is nice for stabbing and slicing, like the original Gavco design, and the striking contrast in color from silver to black gives it an aggressive appearance and looks great with the sculpted frame, great eye candy. Being able to deploy the blade by flicking it with the middle finger just adds to the fine action. This blade is sweet and again quite an achievement. I again highly recommend this blade. Excellent collaboration. Thanks CKF!
